In Week 17, as the Philadelphia Eagles' offense marched down the field in the third quarter against the Dallas Cowboys, quarterback Kenny Pickett exited the game and went to the locker room with an injury.
Third-string signal-caller Tanner McKee entered the game and connected with wide receiver A.J. Brown on a 20-yard touchdown on the Eagles' next drive.
After the score, a pumped-up Brown heaved the ball into the stands to celebrate. Moments later, Brown was shown reacting with regret upon being told that was McKee's first-ever touchdown pass in the NFL.
McKee, a 2023 sixth-round pick out of Stanford, had never appeared in a regular-season game before Sunday's matchup against Dallas.

Upon realizing his mistake, Brown appeared to offer his jersey to the fan who caught the ball in exchange for the ball.
Dom DiSandro, better known among Eagles fans as "Big Dom," is the team's director of gameday coaching operations and is always on the sidelines. He went up into the stands to negotiate to get the ball returned.
In another social media video, Brown is seen with the ball in hand, giving it to McKee and hugging the Eagles' 24-year-old backup.
The Eagles went on to win 41-7, improving their record to 13-3. They are the NFC's No. 2 seed at the time of publication while Dallas dropped to 7-9 but they were already out of postseason contention. With the loss, the Cowboys will finish their first losing season since 2020.
