AJ Brown says what every Philadelphia Eagles player is thinking following George Pickens trade

Wide receiver George Pickens is now in the NFC East after the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers finalized a trade deal earlier this month.

That means the Philadelphia Eagles will have to face him twice, and Philly's own star wide receiver A.J. Brown knows it will be far from an easy challenge having to lock down both Pickens and CeeDee Lamb now.

"I like that, I ain't gonna lie," Brown said, via his YouTube channel.

"We're going to have to worry about (Dallas), for sure. We're going to have to worry about them. No, I like the trade. I do like the trade. I like the competition. I like George Pickens, I like CeeDee Lamb. And they collab. It's going to be exciting to watch. Because all that does is bring the best out of us. So, if we know how they coming, we are going to have to step it up."

Pickens, 24, hauled in 59 catches for 900 yards and three touchdowns last season. He’s consistently produced for the Steelers, recording at least 50 receptions, 800 yards, and three touchdowns in each of his three seasons with the team.

Meanwhile, Lamb, a four-time Pro Bowler, is coming off a strong 2024 season with 101 receptions for 1,194 yards and six touchdowns.

The Eagles were able to sweep the Cowboys twice last season for the first time since 2011. Philly secured a 34–6 victory in Dallas in November, followed by a commanding 41–7 win at home in December.

It will be a hard task trying to replicate that kind of success in 2025, especially now with their new wide receiver threat.

"Regardless of the scoreboard or what the score says, those are one of the hardest games," he said. "Every single time. Cowboys, Washington, those are dog fights. It may look easy, but it ain't easy."
