Al Michaels takes a quiet shot at Eagles for the most ridiculous reason

Most Philadelphia Eagles fans who were sitting back and watching the Amazon Prime Thursday night game between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins were looking for an entertaining game, but would, out of nowhere, take an unnecessary shot from a legend.

Early in the broadcast, play-by-play commentator Al Michaels was talking with color commentator Kirk Herbstreit when Michaels shared how much fun the Bills were to watch. He seemed to throw a bit of shade at the Eagles in the process.

"Some teams are good but not particularly interesting. The Buffalo Bills are a great team to watch."

What kind of shot is that from Michaels?

Unfortunately, Michaels is not the only person who has taken this kind of shot at the Eagles this week. Video game content creator, Ninja, did the same, as he posted a video earlier in the week that was more directly calling out the Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs for being boring to watch and shouldn't be on primetime television.

This refers to the Eagles' 20-17 win over the Chiefs in Week 2. Each offense failed to hit over 300 yards in the game, but Philly has been taking more heat for having 216 total yards with 101 yards passing from quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo has been taking the brunt of the criticism for the lack of big plays through two weeks, as the offense has only had three passes of over 10 yards. Hurts has only 253 passing yards and zero touchdowns through the air so far this season.

Philly scored 24 points in their season opener against the Dallas Cowboys, where they barely got over 300 yards in that game. It was carried mainly by the running game in that contest.

There has been one mantra from the Eagles' organization and fan base all week: it doesn't matter how the team looks; they are 2-0. As the late great owner of the Raiders, Al Davis would say, "Just win, baby!"
