Dorian Thompson-Robinson left the game in the third quarter and was replaced with backup PJ Walker. With Walker in the game, the Browns' offense was sputtering and couldn't get on track.

Early in the fourth quarter, Cleveland crossed the 50 yard-line trying to get a score to cut the Bronco's 24-12 lead. First down was an incomplete pass and second down was a screen pass that lost a couple of yards.

Sitting at 3rd-and-14 PJ Walker dropped to pass looking down the field trying to get a chunk play. The Broncos covered everything up and Walker checked it down to Cooper who was dashing across the field.

Walker's pass sailed high and the outstretched Cooper paid the price as Denver safety P.J. Locke came flying down and delivered a hit right to Cooper's ribs with his helmet.

Immediately upon hitting the ground, Cooper writhed in pain. rolling around for a few minutes before exiting the game and heading to the blue medical tent on the sideline. He was promptly ruled out for the rest of the afternoon. Cooper finished with two catches for 16 yards against the Broncos.

The extent of Cooper's injury is unknown at this time but his loss would be yet another blow to this already depleted Browns roster.

On the year, Cooper has 45 catches for 749 yards and only two touchdowns. He has been incredibly impressive for Cleveland because he has had three different quarterbacks this year and has still produced.

He is still on pace for another 1,000-yard season but with his health in question that may be more difficult to fulfill now.

Cleveland cannot afford many more injuries. They have been able to fend off an abnormal number of them to this point but as they continue to pile up it's fair to wonder how much more they can handle.
