It was a down year for wide receiver Amari Cooper, who spent time with the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills, hit career lows in receptions (44), yards (547) and touchdowns (4).
It's unfortunate that that will happen, as he's set to hit the open market and is looking for just his second big deal since finishing his rookie contract after the 2019 season.
However, despite the low numbers there are sure to still be a number of teams interested in the veteran, and an article from SB Nation predicts that he will end up with the Green Bay Packers, pairing him with quarterback Jordan Love.
Love, who's set to enter his third year as the team's starter and the second season under his four-year $220 million contract helped command the Packers to rank fifth in total yards per game (370.8) and eighth points per game (27.1).
If Cooper can go back to being the same player who's accumulated five 1,000-yard seasons since 2018, he could immediately jump the Jayden Reed, the Packers' leafing receiver, in 2024 with 55 receptions, 857 yards and six touchdowns.
However, if Green Bay felt that Cooper would mesh well with Love and the offense, they'd need to be fine with shelling out some money, as Spotrac currently values his market value at $18.9 million annually.
