Amid struggles, Aaron Rodgers doesn't regret returning to Packers for 2022 season

Following a rough afternoon against the Detroit Lions, a dejected Aaron Rodgers tried to describe his feelings to reporters after being handed a 15-9 loss, dropping the Green Bay Packers' record to 3-6.

"Pretty disappointed," Rodgers said. "That about sums it up."

Amid a down season for the future Hall of Famer, reporters questioned Rodgers about possibly regretting his decision to play this season instead of retiring.

"When I decided to come back, it was all in," Rodgers said. "I don't make decisions, and then, hindsight, 20/20, have regrets about big decisions like that. I was all in."

On Sunday, Rodgers threw three interceptions in a game for the first time since 2017 in the ugly loss to the Lions. It was just the fifth time Rodgers has thrown three interceptions or more in a game and just the second time since 2009.

The 38-year-old had arguably his worst outing of the season, finishing 23-of-43 for 291 yards with a touchdown and three picks. Through nine games, Rodgers has thrown for 2,091 yards with 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

While discouraged by his and the Packers' performance thus far, Rodgers tried his best to lean on the positives, pointing out that there are "still a lot of games left."

"We'll be counted out, probably by many," Rodgers said. "We'll see how we respond."
