The end of the UConn-Iowa game was very controversial. And that was due to a call the referees made in the final seconds that gave Iowa the ball back and allowed them to chew time off the clock to ultimately clinch a spot in the championship game.
Trailing by one with 3.9 seconds to play, UConn's Aaliyah Edwards was called for an illegal screen. However, many disagreed with the call, saying it was clean.

Many people did not think it was the correct calling, including people such as LeBron James and Kelsey Plum.
However, San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk had a different opinion.
"People don't want to hear this... but it was a good call," he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
This was a much anticipated matchup with two of the best in college basketball set to face off.
Caitlin Clark has had a record breaking year and is rumored to potentially be embarking on the next chapter of her career. And after getting past LSU and Angel Reese, now it was UConn and Paige Bueckers that stood in her way.
The Huskies on the other hand were coming off a big win of USC and were determine to get past Iowa. UConn head coach Geno Auriemma came in with a strong game plan, relying heavily on defense. They held Clark to just six points in the first half, but in the second she was able to get some separation and make plays. And it was also her teammates who stepped up.
But instead of being able to celebrate such an incredible basketball game, all the focus is on the refs and this final call. Many people were not afraid to speak out.
Juszczyk knew his comment was not going to be amongst the favorites, but he had to say what he thought. And there are plenty of people that agree (even if they aren't putting it out publicly).
