The AFC Wild Card Game between the Buffalo Bills and the Pittsburgh Steelers, initially planned for this weekend’s NFL playoff action, was rescheduled to Monday due to a severe blizzard hitting the Buffalo area.

Despite the delay, Buffalo Bills lineman Alec Anderson didn’t hesitate to lend a hand to the community. Amidst the heavy snowfall, Anderson assisted a motorist struggling on a snow-covered road in Buffalo.

In light of the extreme weather conditions, the Bills organization advises fans to stay indoors until the travel ban is lifted. They have released a statement regarding the postponement of snow shoveling efforts at Highmark Stadium.

“With the weather forecast updates and the travel bans that are now in place, snow shovelers are being asked to abide by travel bans and not report to Highmark Stadium until further notice once the bans are lifted. More information will be shared regarding report times once the weather improves and bans are lifted. There will eventually be multiple shifts available for snow shovelers to work and be part of the team to get the venue ready for the hometown Bills Wildcard Playoff game vs. the Steelers,” they announced.

Shovelers, who play a crucial role in preparing the stadium for games, have been instructed to stay home and await further instructions. The team plans to organize multiple shifts for shoveling once the weather clears and the travel bans are lifted, ensuring the stadium is ready for the Bills’ Wildcard Playoff game against the Steelers.

The Bills and the Steelers are set to face off at 4:30 p.m. E.T. on Monday as a result of the NFL’s decision to reschedule the matchup. The team emphasizes the importance of safety for everyone during this severe weather event.
