Bills' Dion Dawkins blasts Jets in fiery shirtless interview
There's no love lost between Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins and the New York Jets.
In a fiery, shirtless interview with VladTV recently, the Bills offensive lineman took aim at his team's AFC East rival.
"Weirdos being weird," Dawkins said of the Jets players. "I'm going to just keep it a buck — I hate them. All of them."
"When it comes to sports, there’s people that play the sport because they love the sport, and then there’s people that play the sport just to try to be cool," he continued. "I feel like they play the sport to try and be cool. Those are a bunch of dudes who just want to take pictures on Instagram. That’s whack. I play because I die by it."
This isn't the first time Dawkins has found himself in a dust-up with the Jets.
During Buffalo's 32-6 win over New York in November, the three-time Pro Bowler pounced on Jets defensive end Micheal Clemons well after the whistle.
After Clemons returned the favor with a push, Dawkins flopped to the turf and remained motionless for several seconds, eventually hopping up and hyping up the home crowd.
Clemons didn't take kindly to Dawkins' theatrics, which earned the 26-year-old defensive lineman an unnecessary roughness penalty.
As both teams trotted off the field following the game, the two exchanged words in the tunnel and had to be separated.
"I'm a humble guy. I'm not a fan, man — I'm not a fan of the Jets," Dawkins said at the time, per ESPN. "Very disrespectful players. It's what it is, and when we can run and pass and beat a team like that, cool. Thumbs up."
This only further stokes the heated rivalry between the teams.
