Look of the Day for Monday, Nov. 20: When it's over, this one's under

The Look of the Day series had a rough go of it last week, but this is the week we start to heat up. Let's focus on the Super Bowl rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles on "Monday Night Football" and kick off the week with a winner.

Look of the Day: Kansas City Chiefs-Philadelphia Eagles under 45.5 (-108 DraftKings)

Taking an under between these two teams sounds like a criminal endeavor, but there's plenty of evidence to support a lower-scoring game on "Monday Night Football."

Even with Patrick Mahomes at the helm, the Chiefs have been an under team all season. Six of Kansas City's nine games this year have gone under this total of 45.5 points, and the defense is the biggest reason why. The Chiefs rank second in the NFL in points allowed per game, fourth in passing yards allowed per game, fifth in yards per play allowed and fifth in sack percentage.

The Eagles won't be able to throw the ball all over the yard against this defense, which is how they've scored at least 25 points in seven of their nine games. They will, though, be able to run the ball in this matchup.

As good as the Chiefs have been against the pass this year, they rank 29th in the league in yards allowed per rush attempt. Philadelphia has had two weeks to prepare for this one-dimensional defense, so the game plan will likely be to ride its offensive line in the run game, control the clock and keep Mahomes off the field as much as possible.

On the other side of the ball, the Chiefs won't have much success on the ground against the top-ranked rushing defense in the NFL. Neither offense will have a balanced attack in the Super Bowl rematch, which leads us to a bet on the under.
