The New Orleans Saints are one of many teams that had their eye on the LSU Pro Day today. This hits close to home for the Saints, considering this is taking place in the same state. So, was the Saints’ social media team just showing LSU some love? Or did the team hint at who they are interested in drafting?

New Orleans Saints Share Malik Nabers’ 40-Yard Dash

Earlier today, LSU WR Malik Nabers had an impressive 40-yard dash. He supposedly did this in 4.35 seconds.

It is safe to say that the New Orleans Saints took notice. Why is this? Because the Saints shared the video of this 40-yard dash on their social media pages.

Could Nabers Fit in New Orleans?

The Saints drafting Nabers would allow him to remain in the state of Louisiana. However, New Orleans would have to hope that he falls to the 14th overall pick. Considering Nabers is supposed to be one of the top wide receivers in this year’s draft, that may be difficult if the Saints do not trade up.

Then, we need to take a look at who the Saints currently have at wide receiver. New Orleans has two notable young wide receivers in Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed. Each of them had five touchdown receptions last season. If the Saints were to draft Nabers, it would make the wide receiver position rather deep for New Orleans.
