When the Las Vegas Raiders were trying to figure out who would be their new head coach after a much more successful season than the year before, players like Davante Adams and Maxx Crosby spoke up about who they wanted as their coach. Everyone wanted Antonio Pierce, who was the interim head coach for the last half of the season.

When things started to look like there was a possibility the Raiders would hire someone else, things got scary for Raider Nation.

Several insiders and reporters reported that Maxx Crosby could request a trade if the Raiders didn't bring back Pierce. At first, that just seems like something he wouldn't do. He is a guy that's considered a Raider for life, no matter what.

"I want to be a Raider ... but if we go in a different direction, there is nothing that is off the table," Crosby said on his podcast later that day.

Now, after Crosby describes why he said what he said, it's clear he is serious. Raiders fans never wanted to imagine Crosby in a jersey that isn't silver and black, but, now we know what team he would have requested to be traded to. Well, somewhat.

On a recent episode of his podcast, The Rush with Maxx Crosby, he was asked if he couldn't play for the Raiders, which team would he want to play for? Of course, he said the Detroit Lions.

Crosby played his college ball in Michigan at Eastern Michigan University and has called Michigan one of his homes before. So, that makes a ton of sense. There were some rumors that the Liosn would be interested as well when Crosby came out and said he may request a trade.

That is something Raiders fans around the world are happy didn't happen.
