The Las Vegas Raiders have one of the best players in the NFL this last season, Maxx Crosby. Then, factor in some of the things he played through, like two injuries, one that left him hospitalized the day before a game.
He was still able to have a career season and one that left him in consideration for the Defensive Player of the Year Award, or was he? Sure, He was a candidate, but he received zero first-place votes in one of the more disrespectful voting results you will see.
I believe Crosby was the DPOY, but I won't argue if you feel differently. However, he is at least worth one first-place vote, especially when you factor in everything and the fact that he elevated that defense to a top-five unit.
What the NFL did to Crosby or the Associated Press, I should say, was pretty bad, but as we all know, this will only make Crosby go harder. In a way, this was a blessing in disguise because now Crosby is about to kill everything standing in his way. One of his teammates from last year just sent out a warning to the rest of the NFL.
Tbh not that he needs it because he's already the most highly motivated man I've ever met but the voters don't understand the gravity of what they've just unleashed on the NFL no votes? lol OK
Once he recovers from his surgeries, Crosby is about to have one of the craziest offseasons we have seen. He is in his prime and is only getting better every year. I can only imagine how hard he is about to go and how scared the rest of the NFL should be. It's going to be crazy.
