When Pete Carroll was hired as the new head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, we knew that he would be bringing his energy and deep connections with him. He might have the most energy for a 70+ year old on the planet, and he has coached some legends of the game during his coaching career.
One of those legends made a surprise guest appearance at Raiders practice today.

Marshawn Lynch played for Pete Carroll in Seattle during the peak of his career. During that span, he was an All-Pro, a 4-time Pro Bowler, and a Super Champ.
He surprisingly retired at the age of 29, but after a year off, he joined the Raiders, who were still in Oakland at the time. He would play three more seasons before retiring for good after the 2019 season.
Lynch is not only one of the best running backs that the game has seen in recent memory, but he is also one of the game’s best personalities. He made a name for himself with silly antics throughout the course of his career.
Las Vegas just drafted running back Ashton Jeanty with the 6th-overall pick. He is one of the most talented running backs to come out of college in quite some time.
It is great to see that a legend like Marshawn Lynch wants to keep his ties with the Raiders, Pete Carroll, and potentially build a new one with the future face of the franchise.
