Minnesota Vikings cornerback Andrew Booth Jr. left Tuesday's training camp practice early with the assistance of a trainer and minutes later wide receiver Trishton Jackson appeared to suffer a serious injury, according to Purple Insider's Matthew Coller.

ESPN's Kevin Seifert noted that a Vikings team doctor followed Booth and the trainer inside the building at TCO Performance Center. It continues a rough trend for Booth, whose rookie season was cut short by a knee injury that eventually required season-ending surgery.

The 2022 second-round pick only played six games through the first 10 weeks before the surgery.

Jackson, who has received high praise in the first full week of camp, appeared to seriously injury his right knee, with Coller noting that a cart was brought onto the field and Jackson was ushered away with teammates huddling around and offering words of support.

Jackson was on the Vikings practice squad last season, having signed with Minnesota after spending the previous season with the Rams under Kevin O'Connell, who was the offensive coordinator in L.A. at the time.
