The Kansas City Chiefs have been stung by the injury bug late into the NFL season.
Andy Reid is leading the Chiefs into Week 16 with a backup quarterback serving as the starter and several other players sidelined due to injury.
On Friday, Reid shared an injury update with reporters, revealing that several key players did not practice ahead of the team's Week 16 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
"Leo Chenal - shoulder
Derrick Nnadi - illness
Trent McDuffie -knee
Tyquan Thornton - concussion
Rashee Rice - concussion
Jaylon Moore - knee
Jawaan Taylor - knee."
Every player included has been ruled out for the Week 16 matchup against the Titans, along with defensive back Nazeeh Johnson and tight end Jake Briningstool.
Per Andy Reid, these players did not practice today.

The Kansas City Chiefs will definitely be shorthanded, missing several starters such as Jawaan Taylor, Rashee Rice and Trent McDuffie.
Gardner Minshew will serve as the starting quarterback, replacing Patrick Mahomes, who recently went through surgery to repair a torn ACL. Mahomes suffered the injury in the Chiefs' recent matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Andy Reid will look toward the depth of the Kansas City Chiefs to close out the season. After playing the Tennessee Titans in Week 16, the Chiefs will finish the season with matchups against the Denver Broncos and the Las Vegas Raiders.
