The Kansas City Chiefs have struggled to keep a healthy roster this season.

The injury bug has plagued the Chiefs and their potential run back to the playoffs. While Kansas City was looking to compete in the Super Bowl for its fourth straight season, it had been eliminated from postseason contention.

Kansas City was eliminated from the playoffs after a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. They're now preparing for a Week 16 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

While the Chiefs are getting ready to march into Week 16 and snap their losing streak, they announced some unfortunate news regarding the roster.

On Saturday, Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor was placed on injured reserve. He will miss the remainder of the season for the Chiefs.

"We have placed LB Leo Chenal and T Jawaan Taylor on Reserve/Injured," posted the official social media account of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The loss of Jawaan Taylor for the rest of the season leaves a big hole for the Kansas City Chiefs' offense. Before losing Taylor, the Chiefs had lost Josh Simmons and Wanya Morris, two key players on the offensive line.

Backup quarterback Gardner Minshew will be playing behind a thin offensive line, putting the Chiefs in danger of losing their fourth straight game.

Jawaan Taylor has been with the Kansas City Chiefs since 2023. He served a large role in protecting Patrick Mahomes until the quarterback went down with a season-ending knee injury.
