The Kansas City Chiefs have been officially eliminated from playoff contention, and now there are plenty of questions about the future of this team.
One of them involves future Hall of Fame tight end Travis Kelce, who could be playing his final season in the NFL. No announcement has been made official yet by Kelce, but rumors have swirled a lot.
In other news, the Chiefs franchise announced that it will be leaving Missouri and moving to Kansas, with a new stadium set to open in Wyandotte County for the start of the 2031 NFL season.
That means once 2031 begins, the Chiefs will no longer be playing at Arrowhead Stadium, but rather in a brand-new, $4.4 billion stadium that will be built.
After the news came out, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid reacted accordingly, saying it is "phenomenal news."
"I think it's phenomenal news," Reid said. "I went through this in Philadelphia where we had one of these deals. It doesn't matter if it's here [in Missouri] or Kansas. We're not moving to Florida or somewhere else, we're right here."
"That's the beautiful thing about it," Reid said while mentioning the fans.

As for Reid's comments, the fans will still come to the games regardless, especially with the move just to the other side of the border.
Chiefs owner Clark Hunt revealed the vision in regards to the new facility and stadium the Chiefs will have, via Nate Taylor of ESPN.
"This will give Chiefs kingdom a state-of-the-art facility for multiple generations, a building that can last for at least 50 or 60 years. We believe it's the best thing for the region. It will give Kansas City the opportunity to bid on events that we can't host right now, like the Super Bowl, the College Football Playoff and the NCAA Final Fours."
The official location has yet to be determined, but it will be somewhere in Wyandotte County and the Chiefs are hoping it is close to the Kansas Speedway.
The Chiefs have been playing at Arrowhead Stadium since 1972.
