Andy Reid speaks on the Chiefs handling all of the off-field distractions while going for a three-peat

The Kansas City Chiefs have had no shortage of drama this offseason. Obviously, we know about wide receiver Rashee Rice's first incident, which he has since talked about online. Then there was his second incident, which recently saw the charges against him being dropped.

Oh, and, of course, Harrison Butker's controversial statements at a graduation and two Chiefs players, including second-year offensive lineman Wanya Morris, being arrested for possession of Marijuana.

It's been a lot, and I'm sure the Chiefs, along with general manager Brett Veach and head coach Andy Reid, have been stressed dealing with all of this stuff.

However, the Chiefs have a commendable history of not tolerating any off-field issues, as demonstrated by the Kareem Hunt incident, which led to the team releasing the running back. This issue was far more severe than any of these, but it's a testament to the Chiefs' resilience in the face of adversity. The team is no stranger to offseason drama.

This year, however, has seen an unprecedented amount of drama. It's the most I can recall for the team, and it's coming at a challenging time. But the Chiefs are not ones to back down. They are in the midst of attempting something unprecedented - a three-peat. Despite the distractions, the team's determination to overcome these challenges is palpable.

It's safe to say that the dynasty has had its fair share of distractions, but the biggest thing is how you navigate through that and stay focused.

"Obviously, stay in touch with them, and you communicate before they leave, make sure they take care of business," Reid said on Wednesday. "Sometimes things happen, and you have to work through that. We don't want those things obviously to happen, but things do happen, and you work through it. My thing is, it's important that you learn from it and that you end it, so that's important."

The Chiefs have dealt their hand with obstacles this offseason. They have a goal in mind: to win their third Super Bowl in a row and submit themselves as the greatest team of all time. But, obviously, it won't be easy.
