Another brother duo could team up in Pittsburgh

The Steelers have had a knack for bringing talented bloodlines to Pittsburgh. With free agency just a couple of months away, they may be looking to pair up two more brothers in 2023.

Pittsburgh is in need of a linebacker, especially with Devin Bush likely on his way out. So, signing LB Tremaine Edmunds, brother of Steelers S Terrell Edmunds, to the team makes a whole lot of sense.

The 24-year-old linebacker is set to hit free agency as the Bills face an uphill battle with their cap space in 2023. Unless Buffalo moves some money around in order to resign Tre. Edmunds, he'll be for the Steelers' taking.

Tre. Edmunds' market value has likely increased since LB Roquan Smith's new contract, but he should still be affordable for Pittsburgh.

Tre. Edmunds is a sideline-to-sideline player who's had five-straight 100+ tackle seasons. He would provide exactly what the Steelers hoped Bush would when they drafted him in 2019.

Ter. Edmunds' contract also expires at the end of 2022, but the thought of teaming up with his brother is definitely intriguing.

"I think I could make a package deal just for my family because they split up for games," Ter. Edmunds told reporters. "So, to get my mom and dad to come to one home base every week, I'd do that."
