I did say Brook Bowers, but I don't think he will be available when the Raiders pick.  I also know they love Joe Alt, the TE from Notre Dame.  So, with a long way to go to the NFL Draft, I would predict Joe Alt of the Irish.

Hondo, I respect your opinion, and your article this week with the NFL Executives giving their unbiased opinion on the Raiders was powerful.  So here is my question.  How much of the Raiders' struggles were with lousy drafting before Dave Ziegler got here?  Kurt Miller

Thank you so much, and thanks to those executives.  It would be foolish not to question the Raiders' decisions since Dave Ziegler and Josh McDaniels arrived.  It would also be foolish not to be fair in any analysis before their arrival if germane to the current team.  That analysis would show any fair person that the Raiders are suffering from terrible drafting before the arrival of Dave and Josh, something those executives said in the article.

Hondo, I heard you being interviewed on television here in California.  The way you talked made me want to email for the first time.  Whatever Chandler Jones's personal matter is, do you believe the Raiders had any evidence or reason to suspect that issue was relevant in Arizona?  Thank you, Adam G.

Hondo, I was depressed when I saw that the Raiders had reached out to trade for RB Cam Akers when they need defensive line help.  Why would they?  Carrie W.

I say all the time that Raider Nation gets played for clickbait.  I can tell you that the Raiders DID NOT desire or even come close to trading for Cam Akers.  Not at all.

Hondo, what are your thoughts on Bo Nix?  Ray Negrete

Many people are talking about Bo now that he plays so well for the Oregon Ducks.  However, my opinion is irrelevant.  I contacted a couple of NFL scouts for their analysis, and here is what I was told.  "Bo struggles in stress situations with decision-making.  Undoubtedly, he has flourished with the (Oregon) Ducks coaching staff, and with better players, he is growing weekly.  With every passing game and demonstration of his improved decision-making, he is moving up NFL Draft boards."

Hondo, you preached all offseason and training camp about this team's consistency.  We saw it during training camp, so I am not questioning the accuracy.  What I want to know is what happened to it.  Jordan U.

First, the team carried that consistency until they had a setback against the Buffalo Bills. An extensive setback for sure, but it is one game.  Do you hold yourself to never having a bad day?    Consistency is the ability to overcome the last week, and let's see what they do today.

Hondo, I was impressed by Zamir White last week when Josh Jacobs could do nothing.  Why doesn't he start this week,, Jacobs is too busy counting his money.  Jim S.

Did you not see Zamir putting the ball on the carpet?  How about struggles in the passing game?  Do you want the returning NFL leading rusher, a team captain, and a true star benched for Zamir?  I would definitely like to see Zamir get more reps, but bench Josh?  I got nothing.

Hondo, you are one of the biggest reasons that Derek Carr isn't here.  You attacked him repeatedly, and if he had been here, we would have won last week at Buffalo.  The hatred by the team, fans, and media of Derek Carr is why the New Orleans Saints are undefeated, will win the Super Bowl, and we are cursed.  I hope you are happy with yourself because you can't attack a man of God like Derek and expect to do well.  The last time I see your name will be my best day.
