Trade talk is starting to pick up around Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson, with a new team being linked to him.
The Green Bay Packers are a “team to monitor” for a possible Richardson trade, according to Stephen Holder of ESPN. No Richardson deal is imminent, but he is starting to attract interest from teams.

One particular team to monitor: the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers need a new backup after Malik Willis left for the Miami Dolphins. Richardson could fill that role while trying to revive his career under coach Matt LaFleur.
Ultimately, a backup job is likely the best Richardson is going to get at this point. He still has immense physical talent, but never put it all together with the Colts. The league certainly is not ready to give up on him, but he has not shown himself to be worthy of a starting gig after throwing 11 touchdowns to 13 interceptions in the first three years of his career.
The Colts have given Richardson permission to seek a trade and are all but certain to move him this offseason. There is another interesting team he has been linked to as well.
