10 years ago, Antonio Brown was at the top of the NFL world as a former sixth-round pick that turned himself into arguably the best receiver in football. Now he faces a warrant for his arrest on an attempted murder charge.

The ex-Steelers star has seen his behavior become increasingly erratic over the years — both in real life and on social media.

And over the weekend, Brown posted an anti-media quote from late civil rights activist and Black empowerment advocate, Malcolm X. Before claiming that "they" are the ones to blame for his current legal situation.

"How TF You go from being victimized unto a attempt to murder you see they control the media," Brown said. "Took a month to change the narrative ... A year or 2 them dragging the narrative ... Attempt to murder ... you see They only want 3 types of [expletives] In America in jail dead or dead broke."

Brown became the subject of these charges following an incident at a celebrity boxing match in Miami last month where he initially claimed he "was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me."

The seven-time Pro Bowler is then alleged to have stolen a firearm from a security guard, chased one of the men in question down and fired the gun two times in their direction.

The warrant for Brown's arrest reportedly calls for him to be held on $10,000 bond and remain on house arrest until his pending trial.

AB has not set foot on an NFL field since infamously storming off of one in the middle of a game as a member of the Tampa Bay Bucs in 2021.
