Antonio Brown takes unprovoked shots at Julio Jones

Antonio Brown just doesn't give up, does he? The jobless wide receiver took shots at Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones for what appears to be no particular reason.

The loud-mouthed former Steelers All-Pro said on Instagram Live that he's still the best receiver in football and made sure he dissed Jones in the process.

“Tell Julio to look up the stats,” Brown said, according to Zach Braziller of the New York Post. “I got more touchdowns than Julio Jones had in the past five years. And I took a year off.”

Brown saying that he took a year off isn't necessarily accurate. He actually played one game for the New England Patriots. After being traded to the Oakland Raiders from the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Raiders cut the 31-year-old due to disciplinary issues. He was then waived by the Patriots after facing charges for sexual assault.

Brown does have 47 receiving touchdowns to Jones' 31 in the past five years. However, Jones has more receiving yards than Brown with 7,795 to Brown's 6,004.

The former Patriots, Raiders and Steelers WR has had plenty of issues over the past year, including the sexual assault allegations and assault allegations from a moving truck driver, among others.

Although he's expressed interest in reuniting with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay, Bruce Arians shut down the speculation real quick. If Brown wants another NFL gig, he'll have to search somewhere else, while Jones has had no issues beyond minor contract squabbles during his career with the Falcons.
