The Arizona Cardinals are looking to move forward with QB Kyler Murray next season. Now, they are trying to make moves to help Murray do just that. This recent signing should offer Murray some extra protection in 2024.
According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the Arizona Cardinals are going to sign C Evan Brown. The deal is reported to last for one year and Brown is expected to be paid about $2.35 million in 2024. This should provide Brown with a fresh start and allow him to make an impact on this team.
Brown has certainly bounced around the league over the last five years. Despite this being just his sixth season in the NFL, this will be Brown’s sixth different team he has played for. Ironically, he is coming from the division rival Seattle Seahawks as he gets set to start his tenure with the Cardinals.
Evan Brown does have one big challenge. That challenge is playing for an entire season. In five years, he has never played in every game of a regular season. Let’s see if that changes in 2024.
