Arrest warrant for J.C. Jackson reportedly lifted after arriving back in Massachusetts
USA TODAY Sports

Things just got better for the New England Patriots.

The Patriots acquired J.C. Jackson in a trade with the Los Angeles Chargers in exchange for a late-round pick. However, there was one troubling storyline that was hanging over their heads.

That has officially been put to bed.

An arrest warrant was issued for Jackson after he failed to appear in court in September after getting a driving to endanger charge in 2021.

NBC 10 WJAR reports that the arrest warrant has now been lifted after he appeared in court on Thursday prior to arriving at Gillette Stadium. He admitted to violating the terms of his probations and paid a fine. The only thing left for Jackson to do is complete an online course and then the charges will officially be dismissed.

They added that the original charge came after he was "accused of driving about 100 mph on Route 1 in South Attleboro."

With that now settled, Jackson and the Patriots can just focus on being back in Foxborough.

Let's see if he gets on the field on Sunday's game.
