The Minnesota Vikings began practicing for their upcoming week one game against the New York Giants on Monday afternoon. The open portion to the Vikings media showed something both positive and worrisome.
The good news is that wide receiver Jordan Addison was practicing with the team. He injured his ankle during the joint practices against the Cleveland Browns a few weeks ago. His status for the game is up in the air, but it's a positive sign.
The real intrigue surrounds wide receiver Jalen Nailor. He was spotted on the practice field, but not working with the team. He was off on a side field working out separately.
The good news: Vikings WR Jordan Addison (ankle) was practicing today during the portion open to reporters.

This is not good news for the Vikings. Nailor had a phenomenal training camp with the Vikings and the 2022 sixth-round pick looked to be the WR3 going into the season. The one thing that has plagued his short career has been injuries.
Last year, he suffered a hamstring injury and missed the majority of training camp and weeks 3-9. Those aren't the only injuries he's dealt with. He missed time in his rookie year with both a hamstring and illness while also missing the final four games of 2023 due to a concussion.
After a stellar training camp, the hope was that those might be behind him. We don't know for sure that he's injured, but this isn't a great sign whatsoever.
