Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty has serious expectations being placed on him in his rookie year.
The sixth overall pick in April’s draft, Jeanty is being advertised as a cure-all for what was the worst rushing offense in the league last season. On the field, the Raiders hope that Jeanty can allow them to put together a more balanced offense. With head coach Pete Carroll and offensive coordinator Chip Kelly thriving with strong rushing attacks, they will hope that Jeanty can live up to the hype and more.
The Madden ratings staff appear to agree, as they have given Jeanty the means to dominate the virtual gridiron.
EA Sports has released ratings on the top players for the upcoming Madden NFL 26 video game, and Jeanty will start the season as the second-highest rated rookie in the game with an 83 overall rating.
The only player above Jeanty is Jacksonville Jaguars two-way player Travis Hunter, who sits at an 84 rating.

The rest of the roster will be released soon, but Jeanty currently sits as the fourth-highest rated Raider behind Maxx Crosby, Brock Bowers and A.J. Cole.
With Madden ratings now fluctuating throughout the season, Jeanty has the chance to increase this rating as the season goes along. There is a real chance he ends up approaching the 90s before season’s end, although it is more likely he crossed that threshold next year.
That being said, expect Jeanty to be a favorite player for Raiders fans and Madden players alike when Madden NFL 26 releases on Aug. 14.
