Atlanta Falcons 2025 Regular Season Schedule Released
USA TODAY Sports

The 2025 season will be a pivotal turning point for the Atlanta Falcons franchise. Expectations are incredibly high; key players will need to play a vital role in turning things around, especially on the defense. The NFL schedule has been revealed for every team, so let's examine how the Falcons' schedule will impact their immediate future and the team's ability to establish itself as a staple contender in the NFC.

It will feature a division game to open at home, the earliest of bye-weeks allowed, and five prime-time games. The Falcons will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during week one at home on September 7th. The team's first prime-time game will follow this up on the road against the Minnesota Vikings on September 14th.

A week 3 matchup against the Carolina Panthers away. Then, the Falcons return home on September 28th for a week 4 matchup against the Washington Commanders. Week 5 will be Atlanta's bye week, the earliest an NFL team can have one. Atlanta's Week 6 game isn't until Monday, October 13th. This second prime-time game will be a home matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Taking this break will be beneficial, as Atlanta has a Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers, marking the team's third prime-time game.

Week 8 will feature a home game against the Miami Dolphins, followed by a week 9 matchup against the New England Patriots. Week 10 will feature the Atlanta Falcons vs. the Indianapolis Colts as part of the NFL's International Series, with a game in Berlin, Germany. The Falcons return stateside on November 16th to host the Panthers in a Week 11 divisional rematch. That will wrap up the series with Carolina.

In Week 12, on November 30th, the Falcons will visit the New Orleans Saints for their first matchup of the season. Week 13, Atlanta will stay on the road and head to New York to face the New York Jets. In Week 14, the Falcons return home to face the Seattle Seahawks. In Week 15, Atlanta will again face the Buccaneers in a Thursday Night Football matchup. They will then stay on the road in Week 16 to face off against the Arizona Cardinals.

Atlanta will then wrap the season up with two home games. One against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 17, and a Monday Night Football affair with the New Orleans Saints to close the season.
