Lamar Jackson turned in one of the best performances by a quarterback the NFL has ever seen during the Baltimore Ravens' 35-14 victory over the New York Giants in Week 15.

Jackson completed 21-25 passes for 290 yards and five touchdowns, while also adding 65 rushing yards on six carries on the day. That stat line makes Jackson the first player in NFL history to throw five touchdown passes, complete at least 80 percent of his passes, and rush for at least 50 yards in a single regular season game.

Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills is the only other quarterback to accomplish that feat, which occurred in the 2022 NFL postseason. Jackson's performance earned him a 154.6 passer rating, giving him now eight career games in which he has eclipsed the 150 passer rating mark - tying him with legendary quarterbacks Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger for the most in league history.

The mind-boggling achievements for Jackson don't stop there. He is also now tied with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Roethlisberger, and Hall of Famer Dan Fouts for the fourth-most five-touchdown passing games of all-time with six. Only Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have more with nine.

That is some serious rarefied air for Jackson. He is reaching the point where he has accomplished just about everything possible from an individual standpoint as he has earned two NFL MVP awards and has been named an All-Pro twice. The only thing left, of course, is a Super Bowl ring.

It's probably safe to say that Jackson is a Hall of Famer with or without a Super Bowl title, but winning one would definitely cement his status as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play. At just 27-years-old, he still has plenty of time to get one as long as he stays healthy. Jackson is one of the most unique talents the NFL has ever seen, and he surely has more accolades coming his way.
