Baltimore Ravens Vs. Los Angeles Chargers: Statistics To Know
USA TODAY Sports

Ravens Offense vs. Chargers Defense

BALTIMORE RAVENS

  • 430.1 TOTAL YARDS/GAME (1st)
  • 252.8 PASSING YARDS/GAME (3rd)
  • 177.3 RUSHING YARDS/GAME (2nd)
  • 30.4 POINTS/GAME (2nd)

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

  • 317.1 TOTAL YARDS/GAME (11th)
  • 206.6 PASSING YARDS/GAME (12th)
  • 110.5 RUSHING YARDS/GAME (11th)
  • 14.5 POINTS/GAME (1st)

The Chargers haven't been elite in halting opposing offenses but have been monumental in keeping points off the scoreboard. Teams gain a lot of ground against them but don't tend to score a lot. However, Cincinnati's performance last week showed that the Chargers are not invincible defensively. The Ravens boast a high-flying offense that could do the same damage.

Ravens Defense vs. Chargers Offense

BALTIMORE RAVENS

  • 362.0 TOTAL YARDS/GAME (26th)
  • 284.5 PASSING YARDS/GAME (32nd)
  • 77.5 RUSHING YARDS/GAME (2nd)
  • 24.6 POINTS/GAME (24th)

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

  • 326.4 TOTAL YARDS/GAME (19th)
  • 204.8 PASSING YARDS/GAME (19th)
  • 121.6 RUSHING YARDS/GAME (14th)
  • 22.0 POINTS/GAME (18th)

The Ravens were able to hold the Steelers to just 18 points, but that has been an anomaly to their performances this season. They've held teams to under 25 points just four times and are still last in the league against the pass. While Los Angeles boasts a slightly below-average offense, Justin Herbert has played well this season. He hasn't had a game with a sub-90 passer rating, which he can certainly continue against Baltimore's secondary. The Ravens' best bet is to limit Herbert with their top-five pass rush.

J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards vs. Baltimore Ravens

Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins are paired outside of Baltimore for the first time in years. The new Chargers running backs are the bread and butter that balances Herbert's passing attack. Dobbins, in particular, is having a Comeback Player of the Year season, producing well after being limited by season-ending injuries in Baltimore. He and Edwards will face their old friends Monday night, though they are up against a challenging front that boasts the second-best rushing defense in the league.
