Bears Injury Report: DJ Moore Sits Out Due to Ankle
Jamie Sabau Photo / USA TODAY

Not only are the Bears without their leader for sacks the rest of this season, but their top offensive weapon is currently sidelined.

Wide receiver DJ Moore missed practice with an ankle injury on a day when edge rusher Yannick Ngakoue went on IR. Moore had left Sunday's win over Detroit with an injury that wasn't reported by the Bears on game day. He was able to finish the game.

Afterward, Moore painted the injury as no problem but evidently it was serious enough to keep him out of practice Wednesday.

The Bears also are without wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown still due to a pectoral injury.

Safety Jaquan Brisker was limited Wednesday with a groin injury and linebacker Dylan Cole was out of Wednesday's practice for personal reasons.

This situations included, the Bears are entirely healthy compared to the Cleveland Browns.

Not including several players who have gone on injured reserve in the past week, the Browns had 11 players who did not practice at all Wednesday due to injuries.

Defesnive end (shoulder) was one of those, although the injury is reportedly not enough to keep him from playing.

Defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo (pectoral), center Ethan Pocic (stinger), linebacker Anthony Walker (knee) and running back Kareem Hunt (groin) are among those sitting out.

The list includes several players who were merely receiving rest but do have injuries. Guard Joel Bitonio (knee), wide receiver Amari Cooper (ribs), defensive tackle Jordan Elliott (concussion), tight end David Njoku (knee) and safety Juan Thornhill (calf) missed while running back Jerome Ford (wrist) and cornerback Denzel Ward (shoulder) were limited.
