A few Chicago Bears' injury updates came to light on Friday afternoon. The team's final Week 8 injury report officially ruled out offensive lineman Larry Borom for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Elsewhere on the o-line, the Bears activated Alex Leatherwood from the reserve/non-football illness list.

Borom is dealing with a concussion that has kept him out of practice all week. Prior to sustaining the concussion, Borom had played in all seven Bears' games this season. He logged a season-high 78 total snaps (71 on offense, seven on special teams) Monday against the Patriots.

With Larry Borom sidelined, Alex Leatherwood joins the Bears' active roster. Leatherwood missed the beginning of the season after being diagnosed with mononucleosis on Sept. 14. He returned to practice on Oct. 12, which opened a 21-day window for him to return from the reserve/non-football illness list.

The Chicago Bears have a tough test ahead against a ferocious Dallas Cowboys' defensive front. A banged-up offensive line will surely have their hands full trying to contain the likes of Micah Parsons and Demarcus Lawrence.
