After three instant classics and an epic playoff comeback, it's safe to say that the Green Bay Packers-Chicago Bears rivalry is alive and well.
This time, however, there might be another layer to it.
Bears head coach Ben Johnson doesn't seem to like Matt LaFleur one bit, and he's been taking shots at him from the very second he took the job.
That's why it was only right that he took another jab at his colleague after coming back from a 21-6 deficit to beat his team in the playoffs.
“There was probably a little bit more noise coming out of their building up north to start the week, which we heard loud and clear, players and coaches alike. So this one meant something to us,” Johnson said.
LaFleur is well-liked and respected around the league, and there are no reports about what may have gone down between the two to make Johnson take so many shots at him.
Perhaps it's a bit just to make Bears fans like him more, or maybe he genuinely dislikes LaFleur and the Packers that much.
Whatever the case, it wouldn't be shocking to see the Packers move on from their head coach after such an epic collapse, regardless of all the injuries.
And while LaFleur would probably still land a job in the league right away, even as an offensive coordinator, for now Johnson holds bragging rights over him.
