The Cincinnati Bengals struggled in 2025, going just 6-11 and finishing in third place in the AFC North. It's their third straight year missing the playoffs and first time finishing with a losing record since 2020.

While the team failed to stack up wins, Cincinnati still had several strong performers. That includes wide receiver Tee Higgins. The sixth-year veteran appeared in 15 games, making 14 starts.

He finished the year hauling in 59 receptions for 846 yards and 11 touchdowns. Despite missing two games because of two separate stints in the concussion protocol, he still set a career high in touchdowns.

His performance on the field earned the 27-year-old an exciting honor. On Wednesday, the Bengals announced that Higgins has been named to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games.

'Tee is headed to his first Pro Bowl!" the team wrote via an X post.

Jordan Schultz reports that he will be replacing Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers. This is set to be his first career Pro Bowl appearance. He won't be the only Bengals player represented, though, joining fellow wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase.

According to the team's official website, they are the first Bengals wide receiver duo to make the Pro Bowl in the same season since Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh in 2007.

Higgins' first Pro Bowl selection also comes in the first season of his four-year, $115 million extension. This year's games will be held on Feb. 3 in San Francisco. One of the biggest events will be a flag football game, scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN.
