We have known for months that the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns were going to face off to close out the regular season.
But up until Sunday evening, the date and time of the completion had yet to be revealed.
The NFL just changed that.
The Bengals will host the Browns next Sunday, January 7, at 1:00 p.m. ET in Paycor Stadium. The game will be aired on your local CBS station as well.
Instead of fighting for a spot in the playoffs, the Bengals will just be attempting to close the regular season out with a win to put them over .500. The Browns have not only already clinched a playoff spot, they're locked in to the No. 5 seed no matter how the game ends.
Will the Browns play their starters in Cincinnati? They don't really have a reason to do so, which means the Bengals will likely face the backups of their in-state rivals to end the season.
