Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is looking all kinds of dapper over in Paris, France for Paris Fashion Week, and he's not alone.
Chase posed for the camera alongside celebrity fashion designer Jeff Hamilton and Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu. The photo is the 12th and last in Chase's recent Instagram post below.
A Bengals player and a Chiefs player linking up together is eye-catching considering the rivalry between the two teams. Chase helped Cincinnati defeat Kansas City twice during his rookie season including the 2022 AFC Championship Game. He's been a part of their three total wins against the Chiefs since he joined the Bengals.
He's also experienced their losses, and has always been willing to let his feelings known about them. His frustration boiled during his last game in Kansas City in which he was flagged for questioning a possible hip-drop tackle that went uncalled. He let the world know how he felt about the Philadelphia Eagles blowing out the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
Omenihu played in that Super Bowl, but not in Kansas City's last game against Cincinnati in Week 2 of the 2024 season. In fact, he's only played the Bengals once as a Chief back in 2023. Cincinnati's playoff hopes were eradicated on New Year's Eve thanks to a 25-17 Kansas City victory in which Omenihu contributed a sack on quarterback Jake Browning.
Regardless of his late arrival to the rivalry, Omenihu and Chase sharing a picture together is cool to see. Chase may have a distaste for the Chiefs, but it's all love off the field, and in this case, out of the country entirely.
Hamilton, a native of Morocco who grew up in Paris and later emigrated to the United States, is famous for designing leather jackets worn by popular athletes such as Michael Jordan and other famous icons.
