The Cincinnati Bengals didn't get Joe Mixon back on the practice field this week, and his status for Sunday's game was listed as doubtful.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Mixon has officially been ruled out for this weekend's matchup against the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers.

The running back has been dealing with a foot injury and has missed the last two games. Cincinnati opted not to place him on injured reserve, which would've kept him out of the lineup for a minimum of three weeks. Now that he's missing his third straight game, it appears Mixon's absence has stretched beyond what the team expected.
Mixon has appeared in six games this season, carrying the ball for 428 yards and three touchdowns.
Giovani Bernard and Samaje Perine have handled duties in the backfield in the 24-year-old's absence. That'll continue on Sunday.
