Bengals practice indoors to prepare for Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium

The Cincinnati Bengals had never practiced indoors under head coach Zac Taylor over the past three seasons and recently won three consecutive outdoor playoff games to clinch a Super Bowl LVI matchup against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium, home of the Rams.

As Ben Baby noted for ESPN, however, Taylor shifted his club to the University of Cincinnati's indoor bubble on Thursday to prepare for the upcoming title game. The Bengals don't have their own indoor facility.

Winter Storm Landon is impacting thousands of miles and aspects of the sports calendar, but Taylor said he planned to move indoors even before the weather made practicing outside an impractical task.

"This is the first time we've been playing inside or in warm weather," Taylor explained. "This decision was made a long time ago."

As things stand today, the Bengals will complete at least two indoor practices before they head to Los Angeles on Tuesday. As John Breech wrote for CBS Sports, the club is hosting a fan rally at Paul Brown Stadium on Monday night.

"We're putting our plan in this week, and if you have anything you need to tweak next week, that's great," Taylor added about his game plan for two Sundays down the road.
