ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Bengals are signing former Steelers S Kyle Dugger to a one-year deal.
Dugger, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Patriots back in 2020. He attended Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina, and became the school’s highest-drafted player.
He finished out his four-year, $8,331,904 rookie contract that included a $3,619,566 signing bonus and re-signed with New England on a four-year, $58 million extension.
New England traded Dugger to the Steelers in October 2025 for a swap up from the seventh round to the sixth round in 2026.
In 2025, Dugger appeared in seven games for the Patriots and nine games for the Steelers. He recorded 59 total tackles, one sack, two interceptions including one for a touchdown and five passes defended.
