Bengals' Tee Higgins Requests Trade; 'Wants to Play with Lamar Jackson'
Tee Higgins USA Today

The Baltimore Ravens will be looking for a wide receiver this offseason. And now there could be a familiar one becoming available, and he might have already tipped his hand where he wants to play.

Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tee Higgins has recently requested a trade after having the franchise tag placed on him by the team. On a recent appearance with NBC Sports' Lawrence Jackson Jr., Higgins named four quarterbacks he would love to play for.

Lamar Jackson is one of those quarterbacks, and the Ravens are one of the teams.

Others he mentioned were Josh Allen and the Bills, Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars and C.J. Stroud and the Texans. Higgins played college ball at Clemson with Lawrence, so that's no surprise.

If Higgins plays in Cincinnati under the franchise tag, he'll make a guaranteed $20.7 million in 2024. If the team honors his trade request, Baltimore could be a good fit.

The Ravens have already re-signed wideout Nelson Agholor, avoiding free agency with him, and still have last year's first-round draft pick Zay Flowers in the fold. But Baltimore will most likely have to replace the departing Odell Beckham Jr. if a new agreement cannot be reached with the veteran pass catcher.

Last season in six games played, Higgins, a former second-round pick, caught 42 passes for 656 yards and five touchdowns.
