The Cincinnati Bengals are getting ready for kickoff against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Before the game begins, each team has released their inactive players list.
Here are the Bengals players who will not play against the Jags:
The only difference between this week's inactives and last week's is backup center Matt Lee is dressing today.
Lee was inactive for Week 1, which made starting right guard Lucas Patrick the backup center in case something happened to Karras. Patrick ended up suffering a calf injury during the game and has been placed on the Reserve/Injured list, so all eight offensive linemen on the active roster are active.
Cincinnati's starting offensive line goes, from left tackle to right tackle, Orlando Brown Jr., Dylan Fairchild, Karras, Dalton Risner, and Amarius Mims. Cody Ford will be the first off the bench at either tackle or guard spot, Lee is the backup center, and Jalen Rivers can also backup at tackle or guard. The Bengals did not elevate a practice squad lineman to the 53 this week, so they may be going with just eight for the time being while Patrick is out.
Burton is a healthy scratch once more as Mitchell Tinlsey continues his work as the fifth wide receiver. Jackson being inactive once again is also not a surprise after Mike Pennel was signed to the 53-man roster during the week. Cross is a rookie undrafted free agent and is behind both Pennel and Jackson on the depth chart, so he's not a shocking inactive either. Grandy is the fifth tight end, and Wilson is the sixth cornerback, so they aren't dressing unless injuries come into play.
