Bengals WR calls AFC team 'ideal' possible new landing spot

Tee Higgins said Thursday that the Tennessee Titans could be his "ideal" landing spot should the wideout leave the Cincinnati Bengals this offseason.

The 25-year-old is entering unrestricted free agency and grew up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, less than 200 miles from Nashville, where the Titans play.

Higgins is coming off a down 2023 season so could come at a discount, and his numbers were still decent. The Clemson product was limited to 12 games and ended the season second on the Bengals in touchdown catches (five), third in targets (76) and receiving yards (656) and fourth in receptions (42).

Following his three seasons with the Tigers, Higgins was selected by Cincinnati in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Higgins led the Bengals in receiving yards (908) and receiving touchdowns (six) as a rookie and was second only behind former AP Offensive Rookie of the Year Ja'Marr Chase in both categories in 2021 and 2022.

Brian Callahan has been Cincinnati's offensive coordinator for his entire career, helping the team finish seventh in points per game during the AFC title-winning 2021 campaign, as well as in 2022. Callahan was hired as the Titans new head coach in January.
