For fans of the Cincinnati Bengals, the injury news never seems to stop coming.
In a week where Cincinnati may have quarterback Joe Burrow returning from injury, head coach Zac Taylor revealed major injury news for the Bengals' Thanksgiving night game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Taylor announced that wide receiver Tee Higgins (concussion) and defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip) would be out Thursday night against Baltimore.
Higgins suffered his injury in the fourth quarter of Cincinnati's Week 12 loss, while Hendrickson has not appeared in nearly a month.
#Bengals coach Zac Taylor told reporters that, on Joe Burrow: “Anticipate him playing” … but no official determination.

Even with the return of Burrow and star receiver Ja'Marr Chase from his one-game suspension, Cincinnati still faces quite the uphill battle. Baltimore is riding a five-game winning streak and has taken over first place in the AFC North for the first time all season long. The Bengals being without two of their best players could signal bad news for a team that likely needs to run the table to secure a postseason spot.
We do know, though, that if any quarterback can carry a team down the stretch, it is Burrow. A win on Thursday night for Cincinnati without Higgins and Hendrickson could spark a remarkable late-season push.
