Best Bets for Quarterback Player Props

Quarterback player props are always up in the air. This time last year, Joe Burrow’s waterbottle-gate was in full swing. Now, he’s favored to lead the league in passing yards and touchdowns again. Yards, touchdowns, and interceptions are all available on major sports books. These aren’t just the favorites, but the best bets given their longer odds.

Best Bets for Quarterback Player Props

Lead the League in Passing Touchdowns – Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys +1500

After the Micah Parsons trade, the Dallas defense is a limp noodle trying to stop a bullet train. They’ll need to seriously address it in the 2026 NFL Draft, but until then, it’s the Dak Prescott show. Dak was the league leader in passing touchdowns in his last healthy season, and now he has George Pickens to toss the ball to. Healthy, new weapons, no running game behind him, the stage is set for a big Dak Prescott season.

With Prescott’s proven ability and situation around him, it shouldn’t shock anyone if he wins this player prop among quarterbacks in 2025.

Honorable Mention – Tua Tagovailoa +2700

He’s definitely not running them in on his own and has three of the best weapons in the league between Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and De’Von Achane. The offseason expectations around the Dolphins are low, but there have been bigger surprises.

Lead the League in Passing Yards – Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs +800

We haven’t seen an angry Mahomes in a couple of years. The Super Bowl blowout likely lit a fire underneath him, and there are only four active quarterbacks who have thrown for 5,000 yards in a season. Matthew Stafford isn’t likely to do it with his back injury and at this stage of his career. Justin Herbert is hamstrung by the Greg Roman offense. Last but certainly not least, Jameis Winston would be the funniest possible person to lead the league in passing yards, but the Giants are having more fun with the Russell Wilson to Jaxson Dart transfer plan.

So Mahomes has the motivation, the means, and the weapons to do it. At third-best odds, he’s worth a swing.

Honorable Mention – J.J. McCarthy +2500

What if J.J. McCarthy is better than Sam Darnold? What if Kevin O’Connell is truly a wizard? It’s unlikely, but it’s priced in.

Lead the League in Interceptions – Josh Allen +2000

Finding the interception leader is walking a fine line. They need to have the job security that they won’t be benched if it starts going poorly. That crosses off anyone in a quarterback competition, or with a fairly exciting rookie behind them. They also have to have the playstyle that they’re willing to risk it for the biscuit.

Allen is Superman, for better or for worse. There’s no world where he is benched, and the weapons around him aren’t separating enough that he can play it safe and still move the ball.

Honorable Mention – Drake Maye +1600

The Patriots need to see what they have in Maye, so he’s stuck out there no matter what. He threw ten interceptions in 11 full games last season, and most of the NFL world is expecting a step forward, but there’s always a chance he doesn’t take it.
