'Best Day Of My Life!': Bills TE Knox Announces Engagement
© Gregory Fisher, USA TODAY

The Buffalo Bills may not have a lot to love as a team right now, but tight end Dawson Knox certainly does.

As the Bills enjoyed their bye week on Sunday night, Knox publicly announced that he and his now-fiancee Alex Seefelt got engaged. Knox popped the question on Thursday, with his Instagram photos showing a beachfront proposal.

"I guess this is what the kids call a 'hard launch,'" Knox wrote. I have found the one whom my soul loves. When you know, you know… and it was only a matter of months before I realized that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this woman. She’s loved me at my worst, and helps sharpen me to be at my best. She’s a direct representation of God’s love, and I thank Him every single day for her. 11.30.23, best day of my life."

Knox's Bills teammates showed out in droves to celebrate the occasion, with the likes of Stefon Diggs, Damar Hamlin and Jordan Poyer sending their congratulations. Other NFL stars like Travis Kelce and George Kittle also posted congratulatory comments, as did former Bills such as Fred Jackson and Thurman Thomas.

Knox, who turned 27 on Nov. 14, has spent his entire five-year career with the Bills, but this season may be the most difficult for him. He hasn't played since suffering a wrist injury on Oct. 22, and before that, he had just 15 receptions for 102 yards and one touchdown. Coach Sean McDermott has said that the team is "hopeful" Knox can return after the bye, but it's not yet certain when that return could be.

Off the field, though, it's safe to say that Knox is having the time of his life.
