Best NFL Bets for Week 17: Our Experts’ Favorite NFL Picks Against the Spread

It’s taken nearly four months of the 2025 NFL season but, heading into their Week 17 game, it appears the Jacksonville Jaguars have finally earned the confidence of the betting public. Three weeks ago, the Jaguars were 2.5-point underdogs at home against the Indianapolis Colts. They play the Colts again on Sunday, this time as 6.5-point road favorites.

Jacksonville’s 36-19 win over Indy in Week 14 was part of its current six-game winning streak, and the Jags have a chance to clinch the AFC South with a win Sunday and some help. The Colts, meanwhile, have lost five in a row and are on the outside of the playoff picture looking in.

With Trevor Lawrence playing the best ball of his career and the defense looking solid, the Jaguars have looked like serious Super Bowl contenders. With that in mind, three of Athlon Sports’ NFL experts have Jacksonville as a best bet this week, laying the 6.5 points.
