We highlighted the best bets to win the NFC yesterday, and the natural next step is to look over to the AFC.
It's a packed conference. The Bengals made it to the Super Bowl last year (what a payout that would have been), but this has been the Chiefs conference for the past few seasons.
The batch of star young quarterbacks throughout this side of the NFL will be entertaining to watch and make our look at the market all the more intriguing.
Below are the odds for all 16 teams from the AFC to advance to the Super Bowl, prices available on DraftKings.
What an interesting board this is; this conference is going to be an absolute battle all season. There's a reasonable argument to make for about 10-11 teams I see above, so how do we whittle this down to just a few bets?

I've written at length about how the AFC West is the best division in football, and that is evidenced here by three of the top four teams coming from the division. It's that level of competition that has me staying away from all of these teams in this market. It's going to be such a slog to get through this division and host some playoff games, I feel our attention is better directed elsewhere.
They're the favorite, I don't care. Any thought around the AFC market has to begin with Buffalo. Josh Allen has grown into one of the most talented quarterbacks in the NFL, and this team has been building up the postseason experience necessary for a push to the promised land.
Allen has his offensive weapons, and head coach Sean McDermott has a defense ready to handle this conference. Personally, I'm not taking the Patriots or Dolphins very seriously in the AFC East. Similarly to why I liked the Packers, I just see an easy path for Buffalo to clinch home field advantage. Getting to host every playoff game would be a massive edge, and it's one I see the Bills securing.
Give me Buffalo, I love this team and it just feels like it's their time to get over the hump. The city of Buffalo will explode with a Super Bowl win.
I dunno, how are we not at least heavily considering a +1100 bet on the team that just won the conference last season?
One year later, and we'll be getting a Joe Burrow that should only get better, along with his receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins continuing to up their games. The Bengals have shored up some deficit areas this offseason, namely their offensive line. Cincy signed three new starters for their o-line, and I'll never tire from lauding the importance of the trenches.

The defense had their big moments this past postseason, and if they can come to a deal with All-Pro safety Jessie Bates, the unit should only be better in 2022.
You often see teams that lose in the Super Bowl have a down year the following season. That is a very real possibility, but this price just feels like a number we have to follow given that this team just accomplished exactly what we're betting on.
