Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11. They're looking to bounce back after losing to the Miami Dolphins 30-13 last week.
Allen's performance against Miami was far from perfect, completing 28 of 40 passes for 306 yards, two touchdowns, one interception and a 98.5 passer rating. That loss dropped the Bills to 6-3 and has them in second place in the AFC East.
However, Allen was without wide receiver Joshua Palmer, who missed his third straight game since injuring his ankle in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons. That may change, though, this week against the Buccaneers.
While speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Bills head coach Sean McDermott revealed that Palmer is "on schedule" to play against Tampa Bay.
"#Bills HC Sean McDermott says that WR Josh Palmer is 'on schedule' to play this Sunday against the Buccaneers," Justin Siejak of News 4 Buffalo reported.
Getting Palmer back would be a big boost for Buffalo's offense. In six games this season, he has been targeted 20 times, hauling in 14 receptions for 234 yards.

Before the season started, Allen expressed his enthusiasm to play with Palmer, saying, “Excited to get to throw with him here pretty soon, very fluid in his routes, he creates a lot of separation and there’s a lot of advanced stats that show that. Seems like a great guy."
Stopping the pass hasn't been the Buccaneers' strong suit. Through nine games, they rank 24th in passing yards per game allowed (233.2). Having Palmer back potentially means the Bills can attack that weakness even more.
However, with three practices until announcing any official game status, Buffalo's injury reports will be a key indicator of whether Palmer is truly ready to return.
Kickoff is Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at Highmark Stadium on CBS.
