In a snow-covered spectacle at Highmark Stadium, the Buffalo Bills surged to a dominant 35-10 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13, solidifying their grip on the AFC East title.
While Josh Allen provided highlight-reel plays, it was running back James Cook who set the tone early with a career-defining performance.
Cook wasted no time making his presence felt, rushing for 100 yards before halftime for just the second time in his career. He electrified the home crowd with a 65-yard touchdown run midway through the second quarter, capping a one-play drive that showcased his game-changing speed. Cook finished the night with 14 carries for 107 yards and a touchdown, becoming the first Bills player since 2017 to eclipse the 100-yard mark in the first half of a game.
The Bills offense fired on all cylinders, amassing 372 total yards, including 220 on the ground. Allen was efficient, completing 13 of 17 passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns, including a 7-yard strike to Mack Hollins before halftime. Allen also added two rushing touchdowns, including a creative 9-yard score where he caught a lateral pass from Amari Cooper.
Buffalo’s defense stifled the 49ers, holding quarterback Brock Purdy to just 94 passing yards. San Francisco managed only 239 total yards, struggling to find rhythm against a relentless Bills front.
With the win, Buffalo improved to 10-2 and shifted its focus to a Week 14 matchup against the 6-6 Los Angeles Rams. The Bills remain determined to maintain their dominant form as they push toward the postseason.
